The Moose Mountain Health Care Recruitment Committee is a volunteer group of individuals from the catchment area who believe that excellence in rural health care is not only of vital importance, but that it is a practicable and achievable goal.
Mission Statement
MMHCR is committed to inspiring belief in the viability of health care facilities in the southeast, and to transforming health care for generations to come by encouraging excellent medical professionals to come to the area.

Vision Statement
The committee pursues opportunities to enhance locally available rural medical services. Using innovative approaches, personal research and communication, and volunteered community resources to benefit the Moose Mountain Health Care catchment region, MMHCR bridges barriers to health care in southeast rural Saskatchewan with a focus on the preservation and augmentation of services with excellent professional staff.
Goals
- To create an inclusive, welcoming environment for existing health care workers as well as newly recruited health care workers.
- To assist the Sun Country RHA in enhancing health care delivery in the MMHCR area, to address health care disparities.
- To develop a marketing system to raise awareness of the benefits of living in southeast Saskatchewan, to promote the existing health care facilities as an excellent place to engage in a career.
- To create partnerships which bridge health care issues and underline the importance of health care delivery to local industry and the community as a whole.
